Can I remove the hard disk from a USB external drive? - external hard disk firewire versus ethernet
I have a Seagate 750GB hard drive backup button
(External USB / FireWire). I remove the internal HD and in my NAS box. Is this possible? Will it work? Is it just a normal SATA-2 HD to regular connections there?

In general, the oldest units, just so you can probably do it and put it on your NAS box. There is no guarantee that it SATA-2, however. To open and view content.
