Ski Resorts in New Hampshire? - new hampshire ski resorts
My family vacations in Ashland, New Hampshire in early 2010 ... I have two questions:
Where is the best place to go skiing in New Hampshire? and when the ski is forced to close for lack of snow? (Search for an approximate date - I am aware of the seasons vary, but I ask the date at about the middle of the ski areas) Thank you all!

Depending on what you want, like everyone, Cannon, Loon, Sunapee, and others are welcome. I personally like Attitash and Waterville Valley.
If you opt for a smaller mountain, Crotched Mountain in southern NH is very beautiful. It was only in 2002 with a very nice new hostel and a beginner terrain experts.
You can also see who has many good places in Vermont for skiing.
Again, as I said most people have, thanks to mid-April, pretty standard for most of these places. But I will say that (in Killington Vermont, approximately 1.5 hours from Ashland, NH) is still open and plan to be mid to late May, I said.
However, many options, depending on to do the kind of skiing them. In addition, many people say different things, such as mountains are often very personal preference.
Happy skiing!

All facilities are closed by the company since that time.
Canon has a lot of variety. Loon and Wildcat are smaller, but good seats. Sunapee is also good, but not much more difficult terrain. Ascutney, VT, just across the border, and Burke, VT is only on the street.
In many places trying to stretch at least until 1 April. Wildcat I dialed in April this year, 18-19. If you plan to go mid-December to mid-March and there. After 20 March can not make things exactly. One day you could could get 5 inches of snow and the next day 50 degrees and sunny.
Loon and Waterville are the next two (20-25 miles) and will open around Thanksgiving until mid-April. Both have almost 100% snowmaking not to be based on natural snow.
I always had a fondness for Cannon Mountain. Loon Mountain is also nice. Attitash Ski never gone, but then I listen to what is good.
Loon Mountain, Lincoln NH.
This year we closed at Easter.
