Forget vintage. Clothing for plus sizes at the time included mu-mu. Watch hot and Lane Bryant. Both are available online. WARNING! If you wear a big belt and carry your weight on the buttocks, hips and thighs, which will look more into one. Is this a belt slung low, you need a flat stomach. Do not feel good if you have Buldgen the stomach. Good luck, they can relate to your problem.
You can to vintage stores in your area, and a comb for materials that cut off the edge of the pages (or not) and tie around the waist. You can even some documents in this way and make some big logs with ropes at strategic locations pretty. I think a belt drive current trends ... is ugly. So, with something sweet such as fabric or velvet or something. You can do this .... Be creative.
